Terms of Use

LodgeApp is a website and event management platform for Masonic Lodges. Lodge websites on LodgeApp are managed independently by each lodge. LodgeApp provides the platform and infrastructure; the content and operation of each lodge website is the responsibility of that lodge.

You may use LodgeApp and lodge websites for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form on these websites
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or admin systems
• Disrupt, damage, or interfere with any LodgeApp website or the servers on which they run
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from LodgeApp websites without our written permission
• Use these websites in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others

When you book a place at a lodge event through LodgeApp:

• Your booking is a contract between you and the lodge hosting the event, not with LodgeApp.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe on behalf of the lodge. LodgeApp does not store or have access to your card details.
• Cancellation and refund terms are determined by each individual lodge. Contact the lodge directly for their policy.
• Dietary requirements and other preferences you submit will be shared with the lodge to fulfil your booking.
• You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide in a booking is accurate and complete.

Membership enquiry forms on lodge websites are provided on behalf of the individual lodge. Enquiries are sent directly to, and handled by, that lodge. LodgeApp is not party to any communications between you and the lodge, and is not responsible for how or whether the lodge responds.

Text, images, event details, and all other content on individual lodge websites is published by and is the sole responsibility of the lodge. LodgeApp does not review, endorse, or verify lodge-published content. If you have a concern about content on a lodge website, please contact that lodge directly.

The LodgeApp platform, software, branding, and design are owned by LodgeApp and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the LodgeApp platform without our prior written permission.

Content published by individual lodges (including logos, images, and text) belongs to the respective lodge or its licensors.

LodgeApp websites and the LodgeApp platform are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by English law, LodgeApp is not liable for:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of lodge-published content
• Loss or damage arising from event cancellations, changes, or disputes with a lodge
• Interruptions to the service or periods of downtime
• Any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of these websites

Where we cannot exclude liability entirely, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of LodgeApp is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the specific transaction that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Lodge websites may contain links to external websites. These links are provided for convenience only. LodgeApp has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content or practices of any linked site.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service or applicable law. The most recent version will always be available on this page, with the date at the top updated accordingly. Continued use of LodgeApp after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
